About the roleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Education to join our collaborative, creative team on our flagship Education awards that provide students with a broad and balanced understanding of education, its role in society and the issues presented by social and economic inequalities.
You will join a vibrant academic community to design, develop and deliver modules across the School of Education’s programmes, and to engage in research and scholarly activity. We will support you in developing your teaching, research and publication profile, enabling you to build internal and external networks and seek access to external funding.About you (requirements)You will be someone who shares our values and commitment to social justice, student-centred teaching and learning and providing an excellent student experience. You will be an excellent teacher with demonstrable interest in pedagogic innovation, and will have extensive knowledge and experience in Education. Your experience of teaching will have been at both postgraduate and undergraduate level. Recent experience leading and managing both modules and courses would be an advantage.
